Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 March 2026
1. About EndMile
EndMile is a multimodal journey planning service that compares routes across different transport modes in the United Kingdom. The service is operated by EndMile ("we", "us", "our").
By using EndMile at endmilerouting.co.uk or app.endmilerouting.co.uk, you agree to these terms.
2. The service
EndMile is a decision tool, not a booking platform. We provide journey comparisons, cost estimates, and route suggestions to help you make informed travel decisions. We do not sell tickets, process payments, or guarantee availability of any transport service.
When you tap "Book on Uber", "View on National Rail", or "Open in Maps", you are redirected to a third-party service. Your use of that service is governed by their own terms and conditions.
3. Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate journey data, but all information is provided on an "as is" basis. Specifically:
- Journey times are estimates based on timetable data and routing algorithms. Actual times may vary due to traffic, delays, or cancellations.
- Cost estimates (fuel, fares, parking, congestion charges) are indicative. Actual costs depend on factors we cannot control, including fuel prices, operator pricing, and local authority charges.
- Carbon emissions are calculated using UK Government (DEFRA) conversion factors and are approximate.
- Timetable data is sourced from third parties (National Rail, Traveline, TfL) and may not reflect real-time changes.
Always check with the relevant transport operator before travelling, especially for time-critical journeys.
4. Acceptable use
You may use EndMile for personal and business journey planning. You must not:
- Use the service to build a competing product or systematically scrape data
- Attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service
- Reverse-engineer or decompile the service
- Use automated tools to send excessive requests to the service
5. Intellectual property
The EndMile name, logo, and user interface design are our property. Journey data is sourced from third parties under their respective licences (OpenStreetMap data is available under the ODbL licence; National Rail data under OGL; Traveline data under OGL).
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on journey information, cost estimates, or route suggestions provided by EndMile.
- We are not liable for missed connections, incorrect fares, or delays resulting from inaccurate third-party data.
- We are not liable for any actions taken by third-party services you are redirected to from EndMile.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (if any).
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Availability
We aim to keep EndMile available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the service at any time for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without notice.
8. Privacy
Your use of EndMile is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use data.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of EndMile after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
